Connecticut Speakers
  • Chandra Bozelko: Chandra is a 1994 Princeton graduate. Later she was incarcerated for more than 6 years in Connecticut's only female prison where she single-handedly ran a version of the Petey Greene program to help other incarcerated women there. Chandra is an expert in several areas within our criminal justice system, having had op-ed pieces published in well over 50 newspapers in the country including 2 in the NYTimes and one in the Wall Street Journal. Prison Diaries, her blog, is a national award-winning weekly publication.
  • Fed Hodges: he runs a re-entry program in Bridgeport on weekends called Fresh Start. He also runs a small successful trucking Co. after having been incarcerated for a homicide when he was in a Bridgeport gang as a 17 year old. He is a terrific guy and a very motivating speaker with an amazing story of how he was able to get a job after early release (15 plus years) for good behavior and the fact that he was a juvenile at the time.
